TPS Extended Through June 2024 for El Salvador, Nicaragua, Honduras, and Others

DHS recently announced that it will extend Temporary Protected Status (TPS) to June 30, 2024 for citizens from El Salvador, Haiti, Nicaragua, Sudan, Honduras, and Nepal. There is no need to re-register. If you have TPS and are from one of these countries, your status and your work authorization are automatically extended.

This extension only applies to TPS recipients from El Salvador, Haiti, Nicaragua, Sudan, Honduras, and Nepal. It does not affect TPS recipients from Afghanistan, Burma, Cameroon, Syria, Somalia, Ukraine, Venezuela, or Yemen.

All TPS holders are eligible to apply for Advance Parole, a travel permit that allows the recipient to visit another country and then return to the U.S. If you would like more information about applying for Advance Parole, please contact our office at 206-774-8758.
