The End of DACA

On September 5, 2017, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) issued a memo rescinding the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program established by President Obama on June 15, 2012 for those in the US in undocumented status who entered the US before their 16th birthday and who meet certain other criteria.
