LAURA BOTZ

I graduated in from St. Olaf College in Minnesota in 2009 with a BA in Studio Art and Spanish and a concentration in Linguistic Studies. I spent a semester studying Spanish language and culture in Seville, Spain, and returned to Spain after college to work as an English teacher.
As a paralegal, I specialize in family-based petitions, waivers of unlawful presence and other grounds of inadmissibility, Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests, and criminal history investigations. I also help clients prepare applications for Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA), Advance Parole, and Parole-in-Place. In addition to my role as a paralegal, I manage the firm’s marketing, including publishing its monthly informational newsletters. I feel honored to serve Global Law Advocates’ clients and work hard to ensure that each case receives the respect and attention it deserves.
